PCU Registered Nurse Job in Nashua, NH

St Joseph Hospital - Nashua is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) serving adult patients. This is a night shift position offering 3x12 hour shifts per week at $2,365.20 weekly pay. The assignment runs 91 days, with a start date of August 3, 2026.

Your Role:

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas
• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests
• Participate in the planning and implementation of written care plans under the direction of a Physician

Required Qualifications:

• Valid State of New Hampshire RN license or Compact License
• Bachelor's degree
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• 3 years of previous nursing experience
• Strong Med Surg/Telemetry experience

You will work as part of a collaborative care team in a progressive care setting where you monitor and care for patients transitioning from acute care. Your strong communication and clinical assessment skills will be essential to patient outcomes and team dynamics.
