Job Details:

• 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with weekend shifts preferred
• Guaranteed hours vary: 8 and 10 hour shifts equal 40 hours per workweek; 3x12 hour shifts equal 36 hours per workweek; 4x12 hour shifts equal 48 hours per workweek
• Call requirement of 40-60 hours per 6-week period
• Float required across multi-specialty and all surgeries, including potential float to assist with pediatric transplant cases
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Minimum 2 years of strong transplant experience required, with kidney and liver experience specifically required
• 3 years of overall experience preferred
• Perform scrub and circulating duties for abdominal transplant surgeries including kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal/multi-visceral procedures
• Skills required include: appendectomy, arteriovenous fistula repair, cell saver, cholecystectomy, colon resection, colorectal robotic surgery, cystoscopy, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, gastrointestinal robotic surgery, hernia repair, laparoscopic assisted procedures, nephrectomy, organ donation, transplant robotic surgery, and specimen handling/labeling
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Patient population: adults and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and Regulatory Charting for Transplants
• Must have Indiana license, temporary license, or compact license at time of start
• Indiana residents are not accepted for this position
• First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of strong transplant experience
