Job Details:

• Day shift schedule with weekends required as needed
• On-call required one night per week
• Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility; no local candidates accepted
• Patient ratio: 3 patients per day shift, 1 per night shift, 2 per weekend shift
• Average daily census of 60 patients
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT R
• Kansas state radiology license required; must have Kansas and Missouri license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• Required charting system experience: Epic EMR; Change PACS experience required
• Must be proficient with Siemens and GE scanners (64 slice)
• Required skills include: Adult Acute Care, ICU, Emergency Department, PACS, Abdomen without and/or with contrast, Pelvis without and/or with contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), Carotid, Head without and/or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head, 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Region of interest measurement (ROI), Isolation Precautions, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Brain perfusion, Cervical, Lumbar, Thoracic
• Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
