Physical Therapist Job in Jacksonville, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment at CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital Jacksonville. You will work full-time in an outpatient setting, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, treating a variety of patient populations in a structured healthcare environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement care for patients assigned to physical therapy
• Treat outpatient patient types including orthopedic, balance, deconditioned, and pain patients
• Independently assess all assigned patient types and recognize additional needs during evaluation
• Interpret evaluation results and formulate relevant, measurable, realistic, and attainable goals
• Reassess patient progress regularly per department and regulatory policy
• Gather pertinent data from charts and other caregivers; discuss with physician as necessary
• Identify appropriate equipment and discuss recommendations with patients and families
• Exercise good judgment in clinical decision-making and adhere to all standards of the Physical Therapy Practice Act

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; Doctorate preferred
• LPT License in the state of Texas (or compact) required
• BLS certification (AHA only) required
• Outpatient experience highly preferred

• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: July 13, 2026
• Schedule: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM)
• Weekly Pay: $2,791
