MRI Technologist Job in Edmond, OK

Join OU Health as an MRI Technologist I on an 89-day travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026. You will work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Thursday through Saturday, earning $2,823.84 weekly.

In this role, you will provide specialized MRI technology services to adult and pediatric patient populations. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing patients for MRI procedures and correlating clinical history with physician-ordered imaging studies
• Operating highly specialized MRI equipment and techniques to perform a diverse range of diagnostic procedures
• Communicating and collaborating with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members to achieve positive clinical outcomes
• Conducting post-procedure reviews to confirm all required elements are completed and documented in accordance with department protocols and accreditation standards
• Transferring images and data to appropriate archival systems and preparing studies for physician reporting
• Performing operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and user maintenance per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines

You will also participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain your clinical competencies and stay current with evolving imaging protocols and technology standards.
