ED RN Job in Indianapolis, IN

Franciscan Health Indianapolis is seeking an experienced RN for a 91-day travel assignment in our 65-bed Emergency Department. You'll work three 12-hour day shifts per week—Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM—providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

• Deliver nursing care across all ED zones with patient ratios of 2:1 (Shock), 4:1 (Core), 3:1 (Psych), and 6:1 (Exam)
• Float to different assignments based on your skill set and unit needs
• Operate critical equipment including Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, and Belmont Rapid Infusers
• Document patient care using the Epic EMR system
• Respond to fluctuating patient volumes while demonstrating strong critical thinking and clinical judgment

Your Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience in a large ED
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team

Schedule & Compensation

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend-focused schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday required)
• No call requirements
• Weekly pay: $2,087
• Assignment duration: 91 days, starting October 5, 2026
