Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Perform approximately 12 MRI scans per day covering a variety of imaging types
• Work with outpatient (limited to patients with pacemakers or requiring anesthesia), inpatient, and occasional emergency department patients
• On-call required as needed - weekday call hours are 8 hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and weekend call hours are 12 hours (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM)
• No weekend shifts required
• Scrub colors: Navy, khaki, or wine
• Charting system: Cerner (preferred)
• Siemens MRI platform experience heavily preferred and required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, and active Florida license
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Community hospital, outpatient, and inpatient work setting experience required
• Must be proficient in the following imaging skills: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images, and Contrast
• PACS skills required
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
