Job Details:

• 5x8-hour day shifts with on-call, callback, and holiday coverage per unit needs
• On-call requirement of 5-7 call shifts per 7-week time block, with 2-4 of those days being weekend call
• Work in Interventional Radiology department
• Select exposure factors and positioning to consistently produce radiologic images of diagnostic quality
• Instruct and prepare patients for examinations and assist Radiologist during procedures
• Demonstrate competence and proficiency in operation of all equipment and report malfunctions to manager or lead
• Complete all assigned procedures in a timely manner and assist with room turnover between procedures
• Maintain medication security to authorized personnel only
• Demonstrate competency in providing healthcare services to all age groups
• Utilize Hospital Information System (HIS), Radiology Information System (RIS), and PACS
• Maintain patient confidentiality using own password and all patient care modules
• Answer telephone inquiries of a technical nature from physicians or hospital personnel
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• NYS License or ability to obtain prior to start required
• ARRT certification required
• VIR Certification preferred
