PCU RN Job in La Porte, IN

Northwest Health - La Porte is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a night shift position running from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM on a 4x12 schedule.

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment with two-week cancellation policy and no penalty
• 96 guaranteed hours bi-weekly at $2,803.20 per week
• No on-call requirements
• Starts October 26, 2026

Unit Overview

You will work in a fast-paced 30-bed intermediate care unit with a patient ratio of 4:1 or 5:1. Floating is required and you may be asked to float to Med/Surg units. Block scheduling is not available, and holidays are blacked out based on operational need. Request time off is not approved during this contract.

Requirements

• Indiana RN licensure
• 1–2 years of critical care experience
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Scrub color: Navy blue
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

This role is ideal for an RN with intermediate care or critical care background who is comfortable in a dynamic environment and flexible with unit assignments.
