Med Surg RN Job in Denver, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Rose CO as a traveling Registered Nurse on our Orthopedic/Neurology unit. This 91-day assignment runs from July 24, 2026, with three 12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

About the Role

You will care for patients on a 36-bed orthopedic and neurology unit. Your patient ratio will be 5:1, with 8–12 patients supported by each tech. The day shift staffing includes one charge RN, RNs scaled to volume, one to two techs, and one secretary. You will work with specialized equipment including immobilizers, braces, and cold treatment devices, and utilize the Meditech EMR system for documentation and care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitoring on the orthopedic/neurology unit
• Assist with and support procedures including total joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine surgery
• Manage post-operative and acute orthopedic patients
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Document care and outcomes in Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Solid Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Orthopedic or spine surgery experience
• ACLS certification
