Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Rapid response assignment for 6 weeks at 48 hours per week
• Work in a 36-bed Level 3 NICU unit
• Day and night shifts available, with 2 Respiratory Therapists per shift
• Patient ratio of 2 therapists covering the 36-bed unit during peak volumes
• Operate Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide systems, and Vapotherms equipment
• Use Meditech and NeoNotes EMR systems
• Attend high-risk deliveries
• Perform ventilator management including conventional and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation
• Administer surfactant and Nitric Oxide
• Perform blood gas acquisition and interpretation
• Minimum Level 3 NICU experience required, or 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience considered
• Must demonstrate ability to critically think and work independently
• Detail-oriented with a positive attitude required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC State Licensure
• STABLE certification preferred
