CT Technologist Job in Asheboro, NC

Cone Health - MedCenter Asheboro is seeking a CT Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

About the Role

You will perform CT and X-Ray imaging across outpatient and emergency department settings, serving both adult and pediatric patients. Your responsibilities include starting IVs (approximately 8–9 per day), operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate patient records in the EPIC charting system. You may occasionally be asked to float to other Cone Health facilities.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience; first-time travelers welcome
• Proficiency in both CT and X-Ray imaging
• Outpatient and Emergency Department experience required
• Pediatric and infant care experience preferred
• PACS and portable imaging systems
• GE and Siemens CT equipment; Samsung X-Ray experience preferred

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT – CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, CT)
• ARRT – R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Radiography)

CT Procedures You Will Perform

Abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, multiplanar reconstruction, cardiac CT (pulmonary vein CT and cardiac calcium scores), and perfusion studies.

X-Ray Procedures You Will Perform

Extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities.

Compensation and Duration

You will earn $2,736 per week. The assignment is 91 days, with a start date of September 14, 2026.
