Physical Therapist Outpatient Job in Springfield, VT

You will work as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting at Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vermont. This is a temporary position running for 91 days, starting August 3, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Monday through Thursday: 8 patients per day
• Friday: 6 patients per day
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• No weekend shifts or on-call responsibilities
• $2,610 weekly pay

Your Role

You will provide evaluations and treatments including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises. You will treat a range of conditions: post-operative care, joint replacement, back pain, tendonitis, general deconditioning, balance and vertigo issues, orthopedic and sports injuries, gait training, fractures, sprains, dislocations, musculoskeletal dysfunctions, neurological disorders, bone and joint diseases, hand injuries, workplace injuries, pelvic floor dysfunction, and pulmonary rehabilitation. You must be flexible and willing to work inpatient PT as needed.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school
• Minimum 2 years of current physical therapy experience
• Previous rehab experience required
• Vermont Physical Therapy license or compact license
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Skills checklist pertinent to Physical Therapy, current within one year
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment
• Own vehicle (no public transportation available in the area)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel healthcare experience
• CPSI EMR experience
• Experience working with PTAs
