Physical Therapist

Opportunity:

PT - Outpatient

Job Details:

• Monday through Thursday patient ratio of 8 patients per day, with 6 patients on Fridays
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday coverage may be required
• No weekend shifts required
• Provide evaluations and treatments including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises for patients with varying diagnoses
• Treat patients with post-operative care, joint replacement, back pain, tendonitis, general deconditioning, balance and vertigo issues
• Must be flexible and willing to work inpatient PT as needed
• Must be able to treat all normal diagnoses seen in outpatient clinics including orthopedic and sports injuries, gait training, balance training, fractures, sprains, neurological disorders, pelvic floor dysfunction, and pulmonary rehabilitation
• Minimum 2 years of current physical therapy experience required (new graduates will not be considered)
• Doctorate degree required
• Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy required
• Previous rehab experience required
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• CPSI EMR experience highly preferred
• Previous experience working with PTAs preferred
• Personal vehicle required as the area does not have public transportation
• Vermont Physical Therapy license or compact required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Skills checklist pertinent to Physical Therapy, current within one year, required
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required
• All requested time off must be noted and verified at the time of submission - requests after upload will not be approved
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted
