Respiratory Therapist Job in St. Petersburg, FL

HCA Florida Northside Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment in St. Petersburg, FL. You'll work the night shift (7 PM–7 AM) on a 3x12 schedule, earning $1,512 per week.

About the Role

You'll be part of the respiratory therapy unit located on the first floor of the main campus. The night shift operates with 4 RTs, and you'll rotate every other weekend and holidays with the team. Your responsibilities will include operating PB 840 and PB 980 ventilators, managing patient care through the Meditech EMR system, and performing procedures such as intubation and arterial line insertions.

Requirements

• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• Allied Health Professional credential (Respiratory Therapist)
• Grey scrubs required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with intubation and arterial line insertions
• Familiarity with PB 840 and PB 980 ventilators
• Team-centric approach to patient care
