Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech

Job Details:

• 13-week contract position
• 4 shifts per week, 10-hour day shifts
• Variable start times, typically 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with possible start times of 6:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 9:00 AM dependent on cases
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
• On-call required 1-2 times per week from end of shift to 7:00 AM the following day
• Every 4th weekend on-call coverage required from Friday through Sunday to 7:00 AM on Monday
• Holiday call required; no holiday shifts
• May be placed on low census/call status
• Call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Strong orthopedic surgical experience required
• Must be experienced in sterile processing
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience required
• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Knowledge of surgical standards and practices required
• Utilizes Epic charting system
• Works with standard surgical supplies and instruments
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
• Required certifications: BLS, CST license
