Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift schedule
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Self-scheduling model - manager will do best to accommodate desired schedule but cannot guarantee it
• Work within the children's hospital across all units including NICU, PICU, high-risk deliveries, and acute care pediatrics
• Must be competent in caring for neonates, infants, adolescents, and pediatric patients
• Must have Level 4 NICU experience
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
• Must be competent in the use of both the Bunnell Jet Ventilator and HFOV 3100A
• Must be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team requiring strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, RRT, VA State License
• PALS and ACCS preferred
• Virginia license required - pending license accepted provided temp license can be obtained before start; must have another state license to be eligible for temp
