Physical Therapist Job in Manning, SC

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 90-day travel assignment in Manning, SC, serving home health patients across Clarendon, Sumter, Lee, Darlington, and Florence counties.

Role Overview

You will provide in-home physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders, completing a minimum of 20 units of patient care weekly. You'll work independently across multiple counties, managing your own schedule and patient load while maintaining strong communication with patients, families, agency personnel, and referring physicians.

Compensation & Schedule

This position offers $3,121 weekly pay on a unit-based structure. You'll work five 8-hour shifts per week during day hours. Mileage is reimbursed at $0.70 per mile from your closest branch location or first patient's home. Up to two weeks of paid orientation is provided, with pay equivalent to 30 units during that period.

Unit Structure

Your compensation is based on visit type: routine PT visits (1 unit), evaluations and reassessments (1.5 units each), Start of Care visits (3 units), OASIS discharges and recertifications (1.5–2.0 units), supervisory and transfer visits (0.25–1.0 units), and meeting time (1.0 unit per meeting).

Key Requirements

• Minimum one year of home health experience
• Current Physical Therapist license
• Knowledgeable of state therapy laws and Home Health Agency Conditions of Participation
• Familiar with community resources and age-specific patient assessment principles
• Good manual dexterity and ability to operate clinical equipment
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
• Efficient communication with diverse populations
• High self-motivation, creativity, and independent judgment

Physical Demands

Moderate to strenuous physical activity is required daily, including walking, standing, bending, and full range of motion movements during patient care. Time off requests are limited and should not exceed two consecutive days.
