Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Pearland, TX

HCA Houston Pearland is seeking an experienced RN for a 12-week travel assignment in the Cardiac Cath Lab. You will work day shifts, 5 eight-hour shifts per week, with one week of on-call required monthly. Shift hours are 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage patient care in procedural rooms with a ratio of 1 patient per room, plus 5 recovery bays
• Perform or assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures including left heart catheterization (LHC), right heart catheterization (RHC), percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA), stenting, Impella support, intraaortic balloon pump (IABP) management, peripheral angiograms, pacemaker (PPM) and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placement, electrophysiology (EP) studies, interventional radiology (IR) procedures, thrombectomy, laser therapy, and directional atherectomy
• Operate GE and Philips imaging equipment
• Document in Meditech and MERGE EMR systems
• Float to IR as needed to support departmental needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Availability to accept on-call assignments
