Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Bryan, TX

CHI St Joseph Regional Health Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cardiac Cath Lab in Bryan, TX. You will work 5 days per week on 8-hour day shifts with start times at 6:00 AM or 6:30 AM, with on-call requirements of approximately 10–11 days per month, including one weekend per month with a 30-minute response time.

In this role, you will circulate and independently manage cardiac catheterization cases in a Trauma Level 3 acute care setting. The facility operates 4 cath labs, typically running 3 rooms simultaneously with 5–15 cases per day. You will perform cardiac, peripheral, neuro, and traumatic embolization patient care, along with electrophysiology cases including ICDs, pacemakers, and ablations (A-Flutter, SVT, A-Fib).

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate cardiac catheterization cases with the ability to work independently
• Monitor and assist with hemodynamic monitoring using the GE MacLab/Combo Lab system
• Float between Bryan Campus (home base) and College Station Campus as needed
• Work as part of a three-person team per case: circulating RN, scrub tech, and monitor staff
• Document patient care in MEDITECH charting system

All staff members are cross-trained to monitor cases. You must hold current AHA certifications in ACLS and BLS, as well as NIHSS certification.

This is an 84-day assignment beginning October 26, 2026. The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or up to 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks. Weekly pay is $2,722.
