Interventional Radiology RN Job in Columbus, GA

Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Interventional Radiology department. This is a travel assignment offering competitive weekly pay of $2,649.60 on a 5x8 day shift schedule. The contract runs for 84 weeks, beginning August 31, 2026.

Position Requirements:

• Current Georgia or Compact nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; travel experience required
• Epic and Stroke Thrombectomy experience (hard requirement)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Clinical Responsibilities:

You will work in a 4-room Interventional Radiology suite with an average daily census of 25 patients. Your responsibilities include angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, sheath removal and monitoring, vascular closure system placement, procedural sedation administration and monitoring, blood product administration, IV vasopressor management, cardioversion support, PICC line care and maintenance, and IV infusion pump management. You will care for a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Schedule and Expectations:

• Every third weekend required; no more than 2 weekend shifts per month
• Call rotated among the team
• Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Expected to work major holidays falling within the assignment period

Facility Details:

The facility uses Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication systems. Scrubs are provided. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team in a structured clinical environment.
