Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Float within skillset required
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy blue and white
• EPIC charting experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not Compact)
• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and use of Rapid Response/Code teams
• Skills required: nasal cannula, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management
• IV therapy and phlebotomy with peripheral line care and management required
• Isolation precautions and PPE experience required
• Caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
