Emergency Department RN Job in Wenatchee, WA

Join Confluence Health-Mares Campus as an Emergency Department RN. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, working three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM. This 92-week travel assignment offers you the opportunity to develop your emergency nursing expertise while earning $2,556 weekly.

Your Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments as appropriate
• Perform holistic ongoing assessments of patient status and respond appropriately to changes
• Accurately document all care provided, assessments, plans of care, interventions, and patient responses
• Evaluate and update discharge plans for appropriateness and patient educational needs
• Teach patients, families, and significant others appropriate health information in a timely manner
• Delegate appropriately and oversee care provided by non-licensed assistive personnel
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff according to unit policies
• May float between Mares and Central Campuses as needed
• May be required to function as a sitter when needed

Requirements:

• Washington State or Compact RN Licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Ability to work call as required
• Function consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
