ED Registered Nurse Job in Marshall, MI

You will provide direct patient care in an 11-bed Emergency Department at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan. Working nights on a 3x12 schedule, you'll assess patients, implement nursing interventions, and track clinical progress throughout your shift.

Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being
• Apply critical thinking and independent judgment in assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and supervise nursing team members, including Certified Nursing Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and technicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Complete timely documentation of patient assessments, conditions, reactions, and treatment responses
• Assume charge responsibilities as part of your role

Position details:

• Shift: 3x12 nights
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: August 24, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,280.96
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage availability needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• You must provide your own vehicle for this assignment

Requirements:

• Current Michigan RN license
• Minimum 2+ years of ED experience
• Charge experience required
• Cerner EMR proficiency
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA) certifications required
• Current Medical Surgical skills checklist (within 1 year)
• TNCC certification preferred
• One supervisory signed reference from employment within the past two years
