Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Prep and recover all Cath Lab and EP Lab patients
• Work 4 10-hour shifts per week
• On-call required 4-5 weekday nights per 6-week schedule and every 10th-11th weekend
• Patient ratios of 3-4:1 pre/post and 1:1 intraprocedural
• 24-bed unit with CNA support available in both pre/post areas
• Perform and assist with IR, Invasive CT, and Invasive Ultrasound cases
• Utilize IV pumps, specialty beds, bedside monitors, and telemetry boxes
• Document using Cerner system
• No floating policy; flex based on volume
• Experience with all cardiac diagnoses required with emphasis on vascular patients, IVDA, chest tubes, and CVA
• ICU or ED experience required; previous IR experience and moderate sedation experience preferred
• Critical care and/or previous procedural experience required (IR preferred)
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS
• Green hospital-issued scrubs required as dress code
