ICU RN Job in Petoskey, MI

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• 1+ year of ICU experience required (floating experience not considered)
• EKG experience required
• Must be willing to float to similar units
• Neuro, CVICU, and Trauma experience preferred
• Managing ventilators preferred
• CRRT and Balloon Pump experience preferred
• Every other weekend schedule required
• On-call possible
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification
• Skills checklist completed within one year of application required
• Use clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions
• Care for cardiovascular patients including those undergoing procedures such as PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers
• Support post-operative open heart surgery patients (18-24 hours post-op)
• Provide specialized care for patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies
