Job Details:

• Shift may start anytime between 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM - must be flexible with shift start times
• Competently perform routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with physician-developed treatment plans
• Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
• Deliver accurate treatment results in a timely manner
• Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment and effective communication
• Attentively monitor patients and adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety
• May be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department
• Treat patient age groups including adults and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS
• California State License required
• Preferred experience: Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT
• Preferred skills include: Benign Brain Tumors, Elekta Infinity, External Beam Therapy, Heterotopic Bone, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Prophylactic Treatments, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials, Radiation Safety, Respiratory Gating, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and Vision RT
