Physical Therapist Job in Bryan, TX

CHI St Joseph Regional Health Care Center is seeking a Physical Therapist for inpatient acute care in Bryan, Texas. This is a 5-day work week position running Monday through Friday with alternating weekend coverage, working 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. You will receive a comp day during the week for any weekend days worked.

Your Role

You will work in an inpatient acute care setting with a first-to-float designation and no on-call requirements. Your primary coverage area is the acute care hospital in Bryan, with possible minimal coverage at the College Station acute care hospital. As a PT, you will primarily perform evaluations, with an expectation of completing one evaluation per hour. If seeing patients for daily treatments, the expectation is 10 completed treatments in an 8-hour shift.

Patient Population and Settings

You will treat mostly adults and older teens. Common diagnoses and patient types include Level III trauma, telemetry, ortho, surgical, critical care, neuro, oncology, and general medical patients. Pediatric patients are not treated at this facility.

Requirements and Details

• Current BLS Certification required
• Floor-specific orientation provided for 3–5 days depending on your experience level with acute care
• May be asked to precept as needed by the unit

Assignment Details

This is an 84-day contract starting September 8, 2026. You will earn $2,381 per week.
