NSICU RN Job in Asheville, NC

Join Mission Hospital's Neuroscience ICU as a Registered Nurse on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week (6:45 PM–7:15 AM), earning $2,094 weekly.

Your Role:

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Neuroscience ICU with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Care for neurology post-thrombectomy and TPA patients, as well as post-neurosurgery patients
• Perform and assist with procedures including CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring
• Document patient information using Cerner electronic health record system
• Operate Baxter pumps and other unit equipment
• Participate in self-scheduling with unit needs consideration; six weekend shifts required per period
• Float first to other ICUs or step-down units as needed

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• Neurology experience in ICU settings preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
