Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job in Seattle, WA

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Rehab unit at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 23, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Tuesday through Friday; no weekend or holiday requirements
• No on-call or standby duties
• $2,546.50 per week

Role Responsibilities

• Manage 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratios during exercise sessions
• Care for 30–35 patients daily in standard Cardiac Rehab; 35–40 in Intensive Cardiac Rehab
• Supervise maximum 4 patients per exercise hour and 8–10 patients per education hour in intensive settings
• Perform targeted cardiac assessments and monitor heart rhythms
• Take manual blood pressures consistently during exercise sessions
• Support patient education through Q&A for videos on healthy living and nutrition
• Work with post-cardiovascular intervention patients, including those recovering from cardiac surgery, Cath Lab procedures, EP Lab interventions, vascular surgery, and structural heart work
• Use EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Washington state or Compact RN license
• ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required
• Valid driver's license
• Cardiology, ICU, ED, telemetry, or Cath/EP experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms and assessment techniques
