About this role

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the ICU at Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. This is a night shift position running from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, scheduled 3 days per week on 12-hour shifts. The assignment is 91 days, beginning September 2, 2026. You will earn $1,828 per week.

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice.
  • Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to population-specific characteristics including age, gender, and disease state.
  • Partner with patients and significant others through bedside shift reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching.
  • Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities.
  • Serve as a preceptor or mentor for nursing professionals and students when appropriate.
  • Function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies with decisiveness, composure, and respect.
  • Uphold all healthcare system policies, procedures, and clinical competencies, including legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license: Single State or Multi-state Compact.
  • BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross).
  • ACLS certification required within 180 days of hire.
  • Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
