PACU RN Job in Pagosa Springs, CO

You will provide direct perioperative nursing care at Pagosa Springs Medical Center, supporting surgical patients throughout the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 5x8-hour day shifts, beginning July 20, 2026.

Your Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage safe, effective, and quality patient and family-centered care for surgical patients
• Provide direct support, education, and clinical care during all perioperative phases
• Act as liaison between the surgical team and patient families and support systems
• Work collaboratively with the entire surgical team using a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach
• Serve as Circulating Nurse, 1st Scrub (Instrument) Nurse, and/or 2nd Scrub (Assistant) Nurse based on experience and training

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Lab experience
• Hands-on experience with orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT surgical procedures, and interventional pain management
• Cerner EHR proficiency
• Graduate of an accredited RN program (BSN desired but not required)
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CNOR
