PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Coordinate and manage safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care for surgical patients throughout the perioperative process
• Provide support, education, and direct care to patients during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
• Act as a liaison between the surgical team and patient families and support systems
• Work closely with the entire surgical team using a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to patient care
• May serve as a Circulating Nurse, 1st Scrub (Instrument) Nurse, and/or 2nd Scrub (Assistant) Nurse depending on level of experience and training
• Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Lab experience required
• Experience with orthopedic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT surgical procedures, and interventional pain management required
• Must have Cerner EHR experience
• Graduate of an accredited RN program required; BSN desired but not required
• Current RN licensure in good standing required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, CNOR
