Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Oncology Adult

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• At least 4 weekend shifts required per 6-week period
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to other Med Surg areas is required
• Must be willing to take up to 8 patients when needed
• Care for patients with diagnoses including stroke, cancer, palliative/end-of-life, mental status changes, seizures, post-op craniotomy/laminectomy/shunt, and complications of chemotherapy
• Perform and assist with chemotherapy administration and symptom management
• Support special procedures including bone marrow biopsy and EEG/continuous monitoring
• Administer general medications and chemotherapy medications
• Operate common equipment including IV pumps, PCA pumps, and general medical equipment
• Subject to being downstaffed up to 36/48 hours within a 13-week contract based on weekly schedule
