Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Work in a Main OR setting covering General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal procedures
• Both circulating and scrub experience required
• 16 OR rooms with an average daily census of 35 patients
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Unit systems include Epic, Pyxis, and 2 Da Vinci XI Robots
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Call requirements include 7-8 calls per 8-week schedule, including 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts
• Call shifts are either C1: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or C2: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 2-3 weekday night call shifts also required during each 8-week period
• Weekend schedule requires 2-3 weekends per 8-week schedule, either in-house or on call
• Floating is rare but may occur within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off per contract
• RTO blackout dates include Spring Break (April 4th–12th)
• If one or two major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work them; if three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of them
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• Required certification: BLS
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required
• Skilled procedures include but are not limited to: craniotomy, total joint replacement, laparoscopic assisted cases, robotic surgery (colorectal, gynecologic, urologic, orthopedic, neurological), spinal fusions, vascular procedures, and more
• Orientation includes 72 hours; orientation week RTO is not permitted
