ICU RN Job in Geneva, NY

Finger Lakes Health Geneva General Hospital is recruiting a full-time RN for its Intensive Care Unit. You will work 12-hour shifts in a rotating day/night schedule, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This is a 122-day assignment beginning October 28, 2026, with an anticipated weekly pay of $2,272.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU across day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Manage multiple priorities and handle confidential patient information with discretion and professionalism
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills while contributing to a collaborative team environment
• Deliver age-appropriate care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Model professional standards, focus on patient safety, and uphold patient dignity and well-being

Required Credentials and Certifications

• Current New York State RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA/RQI certifications only)
• NIHSS certification
• Basic Coronary Care certification required within 6 months of start date
• CPI certification required within 90 days of start date

Required Skills and Experience

• Computer literacy and proficiency with electronic medical record systems
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple competing demands
• Knowledge and skills necessary to provide safe, evidence-based acute care
