Respiratory Therapist Job in Petoskey, MI

McLaren Northern Michigan is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment on the night shift. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week, earning $1,969.92 weekly, with a start date of September 28, 2026.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care and mechanical ventilation management across assigned units
• Float to any area within your scope of practice as needed
• Maintain patient airways and administer respiratory treatments
• Work an every-other-weekend schedule with no on-call duties

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
• Current Michigan state respiratory therapist license
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NRP certifications
• Travel experience preferred

Important Conditions:

• Strict attendance policy in place—three strikes for absences or arriving more than 20 minutes late results in immediate termination
• You must make up any call-ins within the contract timeframe
• Not eligible for shift incentives

This is a nights-only assignment with a structured schedule. The facility values reliable, consistent staffing, so attendance and punctuality are critical expectations. You'll be part of McLaren Northern Michigan's respiratory care team during hours when your expertise is most needed.
