Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with minimal potential for overtime to meet clinic needs
• No weekend requirements
• Closed on major holidays
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Perform image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) and cone beam CT (CBCT) procedures
• Administer external beam radiation as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
• Handle approximately 30-35 therapeutic radiation treatments per day and 3-5 CT simulations daily
• Utilize Varian linear accelerators including the Varian 2100 IX and GE Lightspeed CT simulation scanner
• Work within a department equipped with 1 CT simulation scanner and 1 linear accelerator
• Chart using ARIA and EPIC electronic medical record systems
• Radiation oncologist or covering physician available during all treatment hours
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• No IV starts required
• Solid color scrubs required, navy blue not permitted; scrubs are not provided
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (T) Certified Radiation Therapist, WV state license
• Knowledge of Varian linear accelerators required
