Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 4 x 10-hour shifts with a rotating day off
• Will take 1 back-up call shift every other week
• 1 weekend call every 6 weeks
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with professional nursing practice standards
• Review patient history and physical with patient/family and ensure completion within appropriate timeframes
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care including discharge planning based on patient-specific needs
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan of care as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and in a timely manner in the patient record
• Participate in shared leadership, education, role development, and orientation of facility personnel
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting required, with experience in the specialty area within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
