CVOR RN Job in Florence, SC

You'll work as an RN in the cardiovascular operating room at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, SC. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning June 28, 2026, with a schedule of five 8-hour day shifts per week, including weekday hours and weekend call responsibilities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Perform circulating duties in a high-volume OR averaging 6 cases per day
• Support open heart surgery and vascular procedures with technical confidence and efficiency
• Assess patient needs through history, physical examination, observation, and diagnostic data analysis
• Prepare the operating room and position patients on the operating table
• Complete the Safe Surgery checklist using service excellence standards
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate team member activities while executing immediate directives in urgent situations
• Provide nursing interventions consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice
• Serve as communication liaison between family and operating team
• Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely in a timely manner
• Assist in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
• Utilize appropriate health and safety equipment for patient and staff protection
• Demonstrate continued professional growth through goal setting and educational participation

You'll need strong computer skills for patient care delivery systems and maintain a professional image while delivering excellent customer service. This role requires the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment with attention to detail and team collaboration.

Compensation: $2,920 per week
