Telemetry RN Job in Pikeville, KY

Pikeville Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit. You will work 12-hour night shifts with a guaranteed 48 hours per week, starting October 19, 2026, for a 56-week assignment at $2,152 weekly.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care across in-patient Med Surg and Telemetry units with a patient ratio of 1:6
• Float throughout all Med Surg/Tele units and assist other departments as needed
• Read and interpret telemetry strips as a core function of the role
• Complete electronic charting in CareView/EPIC systems

Scheduling:

• 3x12 night shifts with no blocked scheduling
• Every other weekend and holiday required unless time off is approved in advance
• No reduction to 36 hours; 48-hour weekly minimum is firm

Required Qualifications:

• Active Kentucky or Compact RN License
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry specialty
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience required
• AHA BLS certification
• AHA ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing

Additional Requirements:

• Successful completion of EKG test during compliance onboarding
• CareView/EPIC charting experience preferred; on-site training will be provided if needed
• Black scrubs required
