ICU Registered Nurse Job in Reno, Nevada

Renown South Meadows Medical Center is seeking an RN for its 8-bed Intensive Care Unit. You will work a 3x12 night schedule (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week and no on-call requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families and caregivers
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Collaborate with a set group of intensivists who rotate weekly and are on-call 24/7
• Work alongside one Critical Care Technician per shift
• Float to other units up to competency level as needed
• Work two of three major holidays (Eve + Day counts as one holiday)
• May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period

Requirements:

• Current Nevada RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Medical ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Travel experience preferred

This assignment runs 91 days, starting August 24, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,628. Schedule includes nights, weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
