Operating Room RN Job in Denver, CO

Join HCA HealthONE Swedish as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This is a travel position offering 4x10 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 91-day contract starting April 27, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,190.

Role Overview

You will work in a 14-room operating room suite that includes one hybrid cardiovascular OR, one cystoscopy room, and twelve multipurpose operating rooms. You will maintain 1:1 patient ratios and assist with a range of procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and orthopedic and spine surgeries. You will not be involved in transplant procedures.

Shift and On-Call Requirements

Standard shifts run 10 hours during daytime hours. You will have on-call requirements of 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM one day per week and weekend on-call once every 6 weeks when the SSC Ortho doctor is on-call.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Circulating and scrubbing experience
• Meditech EMR experience

Environment and Expectations

You will work with standard OR equipment and Stryker video systems in a fast-paced environment. You must prioritize patient experience, demonstrate strong communication skills with staff and providers, and show adaptability to change. You will be expected to work effectively as part of a coordinated surgical team.
