Med Surg RN Job in Idaho Falls, ID

Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is seeking a travel RN for their Medical/Oncology floor. This is a 13-week assignment beginning October 5, 2026, with a night shift schedule that offers stability and consistent pay.

Schedule and Hours

• 3x12 night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Two weekends per month required; on-call only if low volume

Role Details

You will work on a 39-bed Med/Oncology unit as part of a team of 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, and 2 CNAs. Your patient ratio will be 1:6. You may be required to float to Surgical/Orthopedic and Rehabilitation units as needed.

Clinical Requirements

• Current RN License and BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• 98% medication safety compliance standard for all scanned and administered medications
• Strong communication and time management skills

Facility Information

The unit uses Meditech EMR with modern equipment including Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Arjo lifts, Novastat, and computers in every room. Dress code is navy blue scrubs.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,089 for the 13-week assignment.
