ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• At least 8 weekend shifts per contract and holidays as needed
• Float required as needed to other campus locations
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Work in a General Emergency Department - Combined Adult/Pediatric, Non-Trauma setting
• Treat patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Perform blood product administration, central line care and management, phlebotomy, and starting and maintaining IVs
• Administer continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP, interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs), and care for ventilated patients
• Triage experience required
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG exam required for all RNs
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to 2 attempts allowed
• Community hospital experience preferred
