Physical Therapist

Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapist Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday
• Position is based in Inpatient Rehab unit with the ability to float to acute care
• No on-call required
• Guaranteed hours based on hours signed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, SC Licensure
• Pending state license accepted but must be obtained prior to start date
• Recent EPIC experience preferred but not required
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 10 patients
• Patient diagnoses include CVA, hip fractures, multi-trauma, and orthopedic conditions
• Skills required include acute care, rehabilitation, orthopedics, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary care, gait training, patient/family education, and home exercise program development
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy and interpretation services
• All requested time off must be included on initial submission; RTO requested after the fact will not be considered
• Attendance policy in effect: missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
