OR RN Job in Fallon, Nevada

Banner Churchill Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Fallon, Nevada. This position offers a 5x8 day shift schedule with an 89-week assignment beginning October 26, 2026. You'll earn $2,681 weekly.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history and physical with patient and family, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and caregivers
• Formulate individualized care plans using assessment data and input from patient, family, and health team
• Implement care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising the plan as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation accurately and timely in patient records
• Provide care based on best available evidence and participate in unit or facility shared leadership
• Participate in precepting and mentoring of facility personnel, patients, students, families, and visitors

Schedule and Requirements:

Expect approximately 8 to 10 call shifts per month, including a Friday through Sunday weekend rotation. You'll maintain a consistent weekly work schedule.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid Nevada RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
