OR Registered Nurse Job in Reno, Nevada

You will provide comprehensive nursing care in the Surgery Recovery Room at Renown South Meadows Medical Center. This 91-day travel assignment offers you the opportunity to work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a dynamic perioperative setting.

Schedule and Hours

• Work 4x10-hour rotating shifts, Monday through Friday
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Call requirements include 2 weeknight calls and 1 weekend day call per schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Provide direct patient care for patients and their families and caregivers
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to your competency level

Qualifications

• Current Nevada RN license (required prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Surgery Recovery Room experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,628. Your assignment begins November 15, 2026.
