Oncology RN Job in Richmond, VA

Join the Oncology unit at CJW Medical - Johnston-Willis Campus as a Registered Nurse. You'll provide direct patient care on a 24-bed unit where you'll work with a manageable patient ratio of 5–6 patients per nurse, supported by 2 Patient Care Technicians per shift and a unit secretary during day shift.

Position Details

• Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours, days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Weekly pay: $2,016
• Location: Richmond, VA

Key Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy on the unit
• Document patient care using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and patients using iMobile phones
• Conduct hourly safety rounds and bedside shift reports
• Maintain patient whiteboards and follow key words for patient experience standards
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Medical/Surgical nursing background required
• Willingness to work 4 weekend days per scheduling period (weekend nights are Saturday and Sunday)
• Adherence to required dress code: Navy Blue
