EEG Technician Job in Houston, TX

You will work as an EEG Technologist in an acute care setting at CHI St Lukes Health - Baylor St Lukes Medical Center in Houston, Texas. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, earning $2,073.60 per week.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform Transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies to locate MCA, ACA, ICA, PCA, and Basilar Arteries on both sides of the brain
• Explain procedures to patients prior to performing studies
• Obtain high-quality Doppler Ultrasound Studies
• Generate reports for neurosurgeons based on study findings
• Sanitize equipment following procedures
• Document and chart using EPIC system

Your Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work-related experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Successful completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program
• BLS Certification required
• Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEGT.) certification via ABRET required

You will be an Allied Health Professional working in a neurology-focused role, supporting the neurosurgery team with diagnostic imaging and clinical documentation. Start date is August 31, 2026.
