ICU - Intensive Care Unit

RN - MICU

Job Details:

• 16-week contract assignment
• Rotating shift schedule
• 36 or 48 hours guaranteed per week
• Two or more years of full-time staff RN experience in a Medical ICU required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center prior to any travel assignments required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA NIHSS
• All licenses and certifications must be valid at time of application through the duration of the initial contract
• Requested Time Off during the initial contract is limited to a maximum of 7 days, Wednesday through Wednesday
• May be floated to other areas within skillset based on operational needs, including areas of equal or lesser acuity
• Provide critical care for adults and adolescents over 12 with conditions including post Code Blue, respiratory failure, GI bleeding, diabetic emergencies, acute renal failure, sepsis/multi-system organ failure, and overdoses
• Care for transplant-ready patients, pulmonary artery hypertension, and high-dose Interleukin-2 therapy patients
• Support overflow surgical, neuroscience, cardiac ICU, and telemetry patients as needed
